Curled bamboo leaf platter

Large bamboo leaves from the my garden, one of them still curled, were impressed in the fresh, black clay. The platter is finished with an oxide wash and my own blue shale glaze.
It is high fired and completely functional. It can also be hung on a wall.
Made by Sylvie Joly (maker’s mark on the back of the platter).
