Clare Wakefield's porcelain sculpted forms and vessels capture the essence of the sea and the light flowing through each piece. She works very precisely with pierced designs and lifting waves to create unique pieces which at times also allude to the female form. Clare trained for her degree at Cardiff University, having already completed a throwing course and working for a time as a production thrower. Her workshop is on the south east coast and a short hop from the sea.
