Turkish Slipper Jug

Stoneware jug wheel thrown and altered by Harriet Coleridge. Glazed with a carbon trap shino, decorated with wax, ash glaze, sang de boeuf and reduction fired (fairly ferociously) in a gas kiln to 1280C. Gold lustre brushwork added after glaze firing and fired to 730C.
