Tamarisk blossom platter

While the tamarisk in the garden was in full bloom, I impressed the black clay with a small branch. The platter is finished with an oxide wash and my blue shale glaze.
It is high fired and completely functional. It can also be hung on a wall.
Made by Sylvie Joly (maker’s mark on the back of the platter).
