Simple, subtly bellied stoneware jug thrown on the wheel by Harriet Coleridge. Glazed with a carbon trap shino, decorated with wax, sang de boeuf, ash glaze and reduction fired to 1280 C in a gas kiln. Rim brushed with liquid gold lustre and jug fired once more to 730 C. Potter’s mark infilled with ash glaze.
