Small tea bowl


Small tea bowl of white stoneware thrown on the wheel by Harriet Coleridge. Trimmed, with delicate footring. Glazed with a carbon trap shino, decorated with wax, ash glaze and sang de boeuf with fused green glass in the base. Reduction fired to 1280 C in a gas kiln. Liquid gold lustre brushed onto rim. Fired once more to 730 C.
