A wheel-thrown decorative pot by Patrick O’Donohue that is textured with slip incised marks and found objects. Copper oxide is used to enhance the texture and underglaze paint is used for expressive brushwork. A small amount of clear glaze creates depth to the surface and the interior and extended rim of the pot are finished with an oxide slip glaze to create a matt black/ bronze surface. This piece is decorative and not suitable for use with food or drink due to the matt finishes. Care instructions will be provided.
