Asymmetric Mini Bowl

This intimately sized white earthenware mini-bowl by ceramic artist Sarah Dalton is extremely light and delicate; and has been modified from a regular circular bowl to feature an undulating organic sweep along the rim. Sarah has taken direct artistic inspiration from the wild and barren North Pennines where she lives and works – using a combination of underglazes, oxides and engobes (with subsequent clear matte overglaze) to create atmospheric landscape. Features the further accent of a pool of  partially crackled tinted glass fusion on the inside. The artist’s initials are inscribed into the base.
