Stoneware cabochon set in a planished pewter Rouleaux triangle dish by Lorraine Bates.
Woodsetton designed pieces for a brief set by Victoria and Albert Museum for sale alongside their major exhibitions of the Art Nouveau and also Arts and Crafts era.
The potter comes from a family of pewter smiths and also makes the metal components used for the essential good functioning of the piece.
Engraved on the reverse with the Woodsetton and Birmingham pewter marks and the potters mark.
