Porcelain vase with grey slip and sgraffito detail

This wheel thrown porcelain vase has an unglazed exterior, with a grey slip and sgraffito swirl detail added at the leather hard stage. The piece has then been sanded and polished before the inside is glazed in a bright glossy turquoise glaze.

The piece is beautifully tactile, and is perfect for displaying small posies of flowers, or arranged in groups with complementary pieces.

The piece has been marked on the base with the potter’s maker’s mark.
