Stoneware mug thrown on the wheel by Harriet Coleridge. Glazed with a carbon trap shino and decorated with wax, sang de boeuf and ash glazes and fired in a fiercely reducing atmosphere to 1280′. Liquid gold lustre brushed on rim and fixed by retiring in an electric kiln to 730′.

The two listed for sale are, of course, not identical in colours and markings; they are very alike and work as a pair. No two pieces with this glaze are exactly the same.
