Anagama fired moon jar

Anagama fired moon jar from the May firing at the Oxford anagama kiln.  The pots went in the kiln completely unglazed and were wood-fired for 3 days and 3 nights. The kiln reached 1300 degrees C which means the clay is absolutely vitrified. All the colours, hues and marks are the result of flames and ash in the kiln atmosphere.  The maker’s mark is at the bottom of the pot.
