Having first trained as an illustrator I worked as a decorator for Ken Clarke's pottery in Convent Garden, before achieving a degree in Ceramics at Central School of Art and Design, London. I was then Senior Technician in the art department of the Institute of Education, London.

My pots are made from white earthenware stained with oxides and body stains, inlaid with coloured clay, with further drawing and lustre painting. Images are drawn from the natural word, using a coloured background as a starting point, inspired by organic movement and forms.
