Meeting Judy Chicago in the late nineteen eighties enthused Jenny to continue developing an already established relationship with clay. Working mostly with Audrey Blackman porcelain and lightly grogged black earthenware, Jenny creates one off pieces. Abstract and textural decoration is applied freely, occasionally smoke fired. Jenny is strongly influenced by landscape and the ceramics of Japan.
