Ingrid Saag takes you on a ceramic journey of many visually stunning paths: Inspiration from poetry as a line by Pablo Neruda or Sylvia Plath twines around a tulip leaf; the artistic beauty of nature represented by a delicate branch of plum blossom, or a floating explosive ‘burst’ of brush work evoking dahlias… to mention a few. Gently undulating or torn apex rims summate the vases architecture.  Ingrid trained in illustration at Art Colleges in London and Brighton and while engaged in a lengthy illustration career, honed ceramic skills for almost as long. She is a selected member of the Craft Potters Association and works from her studio in Kingston Upon Thames. www.ingridsaag.com
